La playa de Isla Taboga

Isla Taboga is an old island where pirates used to hid out and attack Panama City. The houses are all built on the mountains that make the island. We walked up and along the narrow streets. There was a beautiful view!

This is a HUGE ship!
Miraflores Locks
This is the Miraflores Locks on the Panama Canal. There are three locks in all. From here, the ships enter either the canal or the Pacific Ocean. The day we went we were really lucky to see a ship coming through and watch the locks raise and lower it as it passed through. This ship is the largest that can fit through the canal and only has like four feet to spare on each sides before hitting the locks or the shore! We also live really close to the canal, so we often walk to a nearby park to see the ships pass by.

Our Panamanian parents who in just a month we have come to love them so much!! They are wonderful ambassadors for the Lord and have taught us a lot about the church, culture, and serving Him.
Curundu Youth Group
Our group at the convention. It was the most time we have spent with the teens from church and I really realized how much I love working with this age group and how teenagers are the same no matter where you go!
Gatos Solos
I have wanted to see these for so long! Rachel and I ate lunch at Betty and Raul's on Friday and a whole flock of them wandered into their backyard. They got so close, one even sniffed my camera! They look like cousins to a racoon.

You have no idea how hard it is to get a word in to this crazy group of people! We have so much fun! Please pray for them!!
Looking for Monos y Culebras
This is our sweet little Noris Maria! We were looking out our window for monkeys and snakes! She says she´s seen them out there before. She is so precious and always in our room getting into something. Please pray this little girl will grow up knowing the Lord!
